Happy Easter from everyone at Classic Grand Touring! Spring has sprung, the days are getting longer and we are now fully immersed in our 2018 Spring/Summer programme of exciting events, but just before we take to the road for the 2018 season, here is an update on some of our latest news.  THE BARLEY MOW - COME RAIN AND SHINE!  Thanks to all that attended our lunch ahead of The Goodwood 76MM A big thank you to everyone that came along to our sell-out lunch at the Barley Mow in Tilford ahead of the Goodwood 76th Members Meeting. After a wet and gloomy start, we were blessed with some glorious bursts of sunshine following a sumptuous lunch! This event has evolved from the Grand Prix de Tours, which has been successfully welcoming enthusiasts to Tours for 15 years. 2018 will be the third year in their new base of Chinon, on the banks of the River Loire. The Saturday ‘rally’ is included for our clients and is very informal; it’s not a race or a competition, just a lovely excuse to drive your car through sunflower fields and past chateaux in the Loire region in the company of many other cars…there will always be somebody to follow! The VLN circuit used incorporates a combination of the smaller Nurburgring Grand Prix circuit and the large Nordschleife in Germany creating a circuit length of over 16 miles and over 170 corners. CGT and David Pittard Motorsport LTD have joined forces to bring you a weekend (Friday-Sunday) of hospitality, motorsport, and even the opportunity to drive theworld famous circuit in your own car on ‘Touristenfahrten’ or ‘tourist ride’ laps. Ice Driving in Sweden - 2019 Group Dates Announced We are pleased to confirm our February 2019 group dates. There will be three expeditions of four days each to enjoy the thrills and excitement of driving on a frozen lake in Sweden next year. The itinerary is action-packed to ensure you have plenty of fun in the driving seat of FWD, RWD and 4WD cars as well as learn how to drive quickly and safely on ice.
