SHROPSHIRE ARTISTS WORK WILL RAISE MONEY FOR HOPE HOUSE CHILDREN’S HOSPICES

SHROPSHIRE ARTISTS WORK WILL RAISE MONEY FOR HOPE HOUSE CHILDREN’S HOSPICES

A one off special poster to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the legendary Jaguar Mk 2 is to raise money for children’s charities in Shropshire.
The artwork, which will be a signed limited edition of 250 has been created by Louise Griffin who is a full time artist and art tutor and has exhibited at the Mall Galleries in London.
Louise said: “ I worked for Stafford college teaching watercolour and drawing for 17 years, leaving in December 2015. I now run my own business teaching painting and drawing whilst undertaking commissions from business and private customers.”
She added:  “ I was asked by my husband to produce a piece of artwork to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the famous Jaguar saloon. I have produced a poster, which features two examples of the famous car.
“The original artwork is a watercolour and it is being produced to a high standard so that Jaguar Enthusiasts and anyone who wishes to celebrate the famous birthday can keep it as a memento.”
Louise’s husband, Tim Griffin, is workshop Director at CMC the famous restoration company in Bridgnorth and said: “ Louise produced a fantastic poster for our 25thanniversary so it seemed fitting that she should produce another one for the Mk2.
